Wash and fold is a full-service laundry option where we pick up your dirty laundry, wash it, dry it, and return it neatly folded — all without you having to step foot in a laundromat. PureLux handles everything from pickup to drop-off, so you get your time back and your laundry done right.

We sort every load by whites, colors, lights, and darks — or by any specific instructions you provide. Each load is washed and dried separately to prevent cross-color contamination and ensure a thorough clean. We match all pairs of socks, fold undergarments, and return everything neat and organized.

Every order includes premium PowerPacs detergent in your choice of lavender or hypoallergenic (unscented). Fabric softener, dryer sheets, and hangers (on request) are all included at no extra charge. If you’d like a Tyler Wash detergent upgrade or scent bead boost, just let us know when you schedule — scent beads are available for $3.

Yes. We offer a hypoallergenic, fragrance-free detergent option at no additional charge. Just select it when you schedule your pickup or add it in your special instructions.

Absolutely. We accommodate special requests whenever possible. You can add notes in the Preferences and Special Instructions fields when you schedule your order online. Common requests include specific detergent preferences, hang-dry items, temperature settings, and how you’d like certain garments folded.

Yes to both. Hang dry is available for $7 per item and ironing is available for $7 per item. Just add these to your order when you schedule your pickup.

PureLux is fully insured. If an item is lost, we will make every effort to return it. If it cannot be recovered, we will replace it. Your laundry is in good hands.

Yes, but oversized items like comforters and bed sheets are washed separately from your regular laundry. This prevents tangling and ensures a proper clean for both your everyday clothes and your bedding. See the pricing section below for flat-fee rates on oversized items.

Everything is handled online. Create an account, choose your pickup and delivery dates and times, select how often you’d like service (one-time, weekly, or bi-weekly), and add any preferences or special instructions. Once you submit, just gather your laundry into a bag and set it out for the driver on your scheduled pickup day.

When booking your order online, you’ll see fields for Preferences and Special Instructions. That’s where you can note things like “please use unscented detergent,” “hang dry the button-down shirts,” or “knock rather than ring the bell.” We read every note and do our best to accommodate every request.

PureLux offers pickup and delivery seven days a week, from 8 am to 10 pm. We want to fit your schedule, not the other way around.

Standard turnaround is next-day — typically within 24 hours of pickup. Need it faster? Same-day delivery is available for an additional $25 fee, subject to availability. We also offer priority scheduling for recurring customers.

Just put your dirty laundry in a bag and leave it out for the driver at your scheduled pickup time. No need to sort it — we handle that. If you have oversized items like comforters or sheets, just include them and note it in your order so we can plan accordingly.

Your laundry will be returned clean, dried, and neatly folded — ready to put straight into your drawers or closet. Our drivers arrive professionally dressed and handle your order with care from start to finish. You’ll get a text notification when you laundry is enroute and again when it is dropped off.

Yes. Just provide clear delivery instructions when you schedule — unit number, buzzer code, or any access notes — and we’ll take it from there.

PureLux Laundry currently serves Troy, Albany, Latham, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Clifton Park, covering a 30-mile radius from Troy, NY. Not sure if we reach your address? Contact us and we’ll let you know.

We charge by the pound for routine laundry like your clothes, towels, uniforms, etc. We do require a 30 Lb. minimum for our pickup and delivery service.

Big, bulky items like comforters and priced by the piece no matter what the item weighs.

No problem. Laundry that exceeds your 30 pounds is priced $2.50 per lb for one-time orders, or $2.19 per lb for weekly and bi-weekly customers. Note: these laundry by the pound prices only apply to any laundry beyond the first 30 lbs. 

So let's say you give us 32 pounds of laundry on a one-time basis. The first 30 pounds would be priced at $50 and the extra 2 pounds would be priced at $2.50 per pound or $5. Your 32 pound order would be $55.

If you give us 32 pounds of laundry on recurring basis, then we lower the costs. The first 30 pounds would be priced at $45 and the extra 2 pounds would be priced at $2.19 per pound or $4.38. Your 32 pound order would be $49.38.

Yes. If you have enough laundry to fill two bags or more, you can add additional bags to your order. Each bag covers up to 30 lbs and is priced the same as your first. Just note the number of bags when scheduling, or reach out and we’ll help you set it up.

The minimum for all orders is $50. This applies to one-time pickups as well as orders that include oversized flat-fee items like comforters or rugs.

Oversized items are charged as flat fees and are washed separately from your regular laundry:
•    Comforter: $15
•    Bed sheets (1–5): $15 (counted as one oversized item)
•    Small rug (5×7): $50
•    Medium rug (6×9): $100 / (8×10): $150
•    Large rug (9×12): $175
•    Synthetic rug: $4 per sq ft
•    Premium rug: $8 per sq ft
•    Pet odor / heavy soil treatment: $3 per sq ft (add-on)

Commercial accounts receive custom pricing based on volume, frequency, and service type. We offer bulk rates, volume discounts, and flexible invoicing for businesses, nursing homes, hotels, restaurants, salons, and other organizations. Contact us or submit a request for a quote to get started.

Yes. Pickup and delivery are included with every order at no additional charge. The only exception is same-day delivery, which carries an additional $25 fee.
