Where PureLux Came From

PureLux Laundry was founded by a United States military veteran right here in Troy, New York. We serve a 30-mile radius across the Capital Region — and this is our home.

Before there was a business, there was a moment. Residents at a local assisted living facility were struggling to keep up with their laundry. It wasn’t a grand plan — it was just the right thing to do. We stepped in, handled it, and watched how much of a difference something so simple could make in someone’s day.

That moment turned into a passion. What started as helping a few residents became a calling: take one more thing off people’s plates. Give them back their time. Make their lives a little easier, a little lighter. The discipline and dedication we learned in the military shapes everything we do — from the way we handle your garments to the way we show up at your door.
